I. Major John W. Goodwin,
Military Suptr, of Railroad Transportation will proceed to the ??? to
look into the Rail road transportation. If necessary, he will proceed as
far as Savannah. If he finds there is not sufficient transportation on
the road between Macon and Atlanta {Macon &
Western RR} to send forward forage as fast as received at Macon
Major Goodwin will apply to the Superintendent, Mr. Cuyler, for the loan
of the necessary cars from the Macon & Savannah Road
{Central (of Georgia) RR}. |
Major Goodwin will telegraph
his successe. |
