| It is very important that this Army should
be supplied with forage by the Va Central R Road from Albemarle August
&c. The Chief Q. M. has gone to those counties to see what supplies can
be obtained and to make arrangements for its Transportation to Hanover
Junction. I beg that you will give him your cordial aid to the full
capacity of your Road. I wish to get down One Hundred (100) Tons a day
{13 car loads which is one train}. It can
be brought in flats or open cars and I hope there will be no
disappointment. |
