Dear Sir, |
Since I wrote you concerning the detail of
wood contractors I have received the enclosed {not
transcribed} communication from Mr. Jas T. Lewis. Mr. Lewis
proposes to deliver 800 cords of wood and 200 ties at Cobham in
Albemarle Co. This will suite the Company better than having so much
delivered in Louisa Co. and if it is not thought advisable to detail
him in addition to the others I beg that you will substitute his name
for either of those from Louisa who furnish but 1000chords except for
Mr. Saunders who has already commenced his contract. I prefer Mr.
Lewis to either Mr. Go?? MR. Bibb or Mr. Tyler. We can give employment
to all however Mr. Lewis forwards a certificate from Mr. Mi?? which is
worthy of consideration in an?? ????? |
Very Respectfully |
