Dear Sir, |
It is impossible to resist the manner in
which you put the case in yours of the 20th. Thanking you for the kind
expressions in that letter and cheerfully relying on your sense of
justice I accept your proposition to take the Macon rates with five
cents per mile for passengers instead of four cents as proposed by
that Convention. |
Will you be kind enough to complete the
Contract and send it to me or give me authority to make out our
accounts by the new rates for transportation in January. |
I enclose a ticket over our Road for the
present year. |
