| As Deshiel's Batty is composed of Six
instead of four Guns as was represented, I was compelled to leave the
Cavalry. There are besides this Company, Three or four companies of
State Cavalry, and I believe one Regt of Infantry, to go to Beaumont
& Liberty. Each officer thinks his company most important, and
demand precedence -- |
