Received at Houston, Texas, February 21, 1862, of Major T. S. Moise,
Qr. Master C. S. Army. Fifteen Thousand Dollars Public funds,
pertaining to the Quarter Masters Department. This amount is to be
applied to finish the Texas New Orleans Railroad from Houston to
the town of Orange, and the Confederate States are to be re-imbursed
by the transportation of freight and passengers over the said road.
