| On the 12th August last, I replied to a
letter of Major Michaeloffsky that there was then by Govt. for Transportation
prior to Augt. 1st '64 about $662,000, and that if Govt would pay
$331,000 then I would take the rest of our ??mand in 4% call
certificates. I have caused almost daily calls to be made for a
settlement, but I am put off. The sum of $100,000 only has been paid
on account. |
| It is painful to me to complain but I must
beg you to see that we are paid up to August 1st. Our dividend scheled
in August cannot be paid until Govt. pays up. |
