| Yours of the 21st inst is at hand and
contents noted. I have no wood for sale. I only furnish wood for the
Rail Road Co. I know of no wood on the Road but what is sold.
Parties in Macon engage it even before it is cut a the Market price
when delivered as this is the only way you can get a man to engage
his wood. perhaps by writing to J. F. Harper, Byron Ga. or C. D.
Anderson at this place you might be enabled to engage Some. If I see
any chance to get you some I will do so with pleasure and notify you
of it. |
