I shall not interfere without hearing
from Gen. Bragg, and if the iron is absolutely necessary I shall not
interfere at all. But the parties represent that iron can be had at
Atlanta or other points nearer to the Road. If this be so, it is not
advisable to incur the increased expense for transportation and to
interfere unnecessarily with the iron of the Ala. & Florida
Road. Will not their iron be needed for the Montgomery & Selma
Road? |

{I believe this is concerning
the removal of iron from the Alabama & Florida (of Florida) RR
for the use on the Alabama & Mississippi Rivers RR} |
