The iron of the Ala. and Fla. {(of
Florida)} Rail Road having been taken up to Pine Barren as I
am informed, should not be removed further without great necessity.
I am informed that it is not necessary for the Selma & Meridian
connection {Alabama & Mississippi Rivers
RR}, and have indicated to Mr. A. S. Gaines, the agent of the
Department, sources of supply for the iron required. Report by
telegraph the facts and your opinion. |
