| Complaints are made that the prohibition
in the shipment of cattle and bacon eastward on the Va. & Tenn.
R. R. renders it difficult to feed the people of Lynchburg and the
sick in the Army hospitals at that place. Modify your order, if you
can, without endangering your army. |
