The President wishes to appoint you
Superintendent of Rail Road transportation. You will be stationed
here and will supervise and regulate as far as practicable the
operations of al the Rail Roads. The duties are important and your
services are needed at once. The Quarter Master of the Post will
furnish you transportation and you can determine after getting here.
Answer by telegraph whether we may expect you or not. Operator will
please deliver. |
