You are to have three of the seven
engines. Each of the four Companies is to choose one, the order of
selection to be determined by lot. The rest are to be distributed by
the Quarter Master's Department. I think this equitable and that it
does not conflict with my promise of three engines. Nothing was said
in our conversation as to the mode of selection, and you represented
the injuries to the Engines to be slight. |
