| I asked on Monday last that you would
give me an order for ??? transportation of Bacon for the Piedmont
Rail Road over the Va & Tennessee Rail Road as Genl Loring had
passed an order forbidding any bacon (except for small holdings) to
be carried out of his division. Please let me hear from you as
otherwise I shall lose the bacon that was offered to us. |
