An agent of the Navy dept has seized the
iron rail belonging to the Marion & Cahaba Rail Road {Cahaba,
Marion & Greensboro RR} upon which the Road relied for
its completion to the Tombigbee River {the
next segment of the road northward} if the exigencies of the govt
require it you had best immediately telegraph authority to stop it
