Your dispatch was the first intimation I
have had of any guns or ammunition being detained at the Junction I
know of none. Guns &c are occasionally brought to the Junction
by the Danville road & I am not informed of it & of course
they are liable to detention if the assistant Quartermasters will
give me timely advise of shipments nothing will be detained at
Junction or anything sent by Danville passenger train will be sent
on by my passenger train. |
