Permit me to introduce Col. Robt. Jamison of Ala. He has
long occupied a very prominent position in that state. He is now the
President of the North {East} & South West
Ala R Road, and desires to present to you some reasons why that Road is
essential to the Government in a Military and Naval point of view. I
