| The transportation of subsistence from
the line of the Mobile & Ohio RR is to me a matter of vital
importance this road refuses to let its cars when loaded with my
stores be brought over the Southern {(of
Mississippi)} road this causing requires delay & loss.
other roads in this Dept take each others cars. I must officially
ask that this road be required to allow its cars loaded with
subsistence required to be carried directly over the southern road
to be promptly unloaded in Vicksburg & return I ask this as a
matter of necessity I have heard nothing of Col Wadley yet |
