Carrington saying that the Secty of War directs that all
transportation must be at once devoted to forwarding corn from North
Carolina does this mean that all other transportation on the
Wilmington & Weldon Road must yield to this service. I have
repeated the message to the supts interest & asked what is being
done & what more can be accomplished to follow literally the
messages that I receive would put transportation in more complete
confusion that it now is |
