I desire to get a barrel of flour from Staunton to this
City for my own domestic purposes. I understand that the
Government Agent at Staunton does not permit any supplies on private
account to pass over the Va. Central Railroad. I, therefore,
respectfully ask a permit for the transportation of the flour, if not
inconsistent with the established regulations of the Department. |
