| I respectfully report that under your
instructions I sent an agent to Charlotte Co. to impress six teams
for the R&D RRoad {Richmond & Danville
RR} to be used at Keysville Va. the other four teams were
impressed in N. Carolina for the use of the P. RRoad {Piedmont
RR}. These impressments were made to bear as equitably as
possible upon the persons in the neighborhood where they were
required and all necessary arrangements made for foraging them. |
| I this morning received a telegram from
Mr. J. H. Wingo Agent at Keysville stating that only one team had
reported to him up to this time, although ordered to do so by my
agent and agreeing to be sent at the time specified. |
| Please inform me what I had best do in
regards to this matter. |
