| All the carpenters and watchmen employed
on the high bridge on the South Side road have been ordered by the
enrolling officer to leave on Monday for service in the army. The
bridge need immediate repair and constant attention. Its safety will
be greatly endangered by taking off the hands employed thus. Please
send an order at once for us to keep them. Also for section masters. |
