Mr. Rd. J. Amip (?), from absolute ??? has willingness to
see that he can get for the Piedmont R Road Co delivered at
Christiansburg Depot or some other Depot on the Va & Ten R Road fifteen
thousand pounds of Bacon. But he says that the Lynchburg Reporter
contains an order from Genl Loring prohibiting the transfer ??? of
provisions from his district except in small quantities for private
consumption. Will you be good enough to give me an order for such
transportation of provisions on account of the Piedmont or Danville R Rd
and oblige. |
