In accordance with the verbal orders of
Gov. Brown, I have sent to you, by Rail Road
{Central (of Georgia) RR} 2500 lbs (two thousand five hundred) of
Cannon Powder in good order, in five (5) Barrels and 80 (eighty) Kegs.
Should Maj. McIntosh, (Major of Ordnance at Savannah) call on you for
500 (five hundred) pounds of this Powder, it is the request of Governor
Brown that you deliver to him that quantity. |
