| The President of the Richmond & York
River Rail Road has applied for the allowance of 33 1/3 per cent, upon
all freights transported by that road for the Government -- the
allowance to apply to all freights, heretofore, as well as those
hereafter, to be transported. |
| Upon consideration of this application I
have authorized the allowance asked for to be made it being the same
which has been given to the Richmond & Petersburg Rail-Road. |
