| I enclose you receipts for the stores
sent to Mr Siexas at this place in my charge: the box for Maj Childs
has been forwarded to him, together with the Invoices &
Receipts, at Fayetteville. |
| When I was in Richmond you asked me to
look up 100 boxes of tin said to have been shipped at Wilmington,
for you. I saw on last Friday in the Petersburg depot about that
number of boxes of tin -- the Agent of the R. R. Co. told me they
had been there for nearly a week, and as I had no authority to
forward them I thought but to let you know of its whereabouts. |
