Dear Sir, |
I have got the iron to Wilmington and I
laid over there long enough to see the freight agent and he advised
me to come on not to wait over there that he would send the iron on
as soon as possible but that he had no hands to work all having left
or been taken sick he says there is no telling when he will be able
to get it off he may have to leave himself or be taken down with the
fever the were some 75 to 125 cases yesterday and I understand it is
on the increase every one that can get away are leaving. You will
please inform me what course I shall pursue in regard to it. I shall
see all the agents on my way back and get them to forward it on as
soon as recd by them I will wait here for an answer from you. |
I Remain Yours |
