| XII You will send a messenger on the
Southern and Mobile & Ohio Rail Roads -- on the latter between Okolona
and Enterprise -- to examine into the various Post Offices on these
Roads and have forwarded to this place all mail for the Army that he
may find in the several Post Offices respectively. |
| The Post Masters on the above named Roads
will deliver all such mail to Capt. Noble's messenger. |

| In accordance with the above order you
will proceed by first R. R. Train to Columbus, Okolona, and the
intervening Post Offices on the M. & O. R. R. and collect and
forward to this office all mail matter for the army which may be found
in those offices, not due to troops stationed immediately in their
vicinity. |
