| My Quarterly Returns for the
last two Quarters have been ready for transmittal for some time, but
owing to the frequent interruptions by the enemy on the Petersburg RR
I have been afraid to forward them for fear of capture of miscarriage.
I think it advisable to retain them until it is safe to send them,
unless you should order otherwise. |
