| To your note, we reply ??l it will take
about Three Hundred (300) Tons of Stone Coal, per annum, (which
is 3 car loads per month) to run our works, to full capacity on
government iron. |
| We have not a bushel of either coal
or coke on hand, from the fact that car loads of coal loaded &
paid for, by us, have been seized by other parties, at
Chattanooga. |
