| This day personally appeared before the
subscriber a Justice of the Peace for said District, Wm. M. Morrison and
made oath that he was in the employment of the Confederate States
under the direction of Capt Thos. R. Sharp A. Q. M. removing Balto
& Ohio Engines and Materials and to the best of his knowledge and
belief that on the 22d February 1862 Henry Havey, Teamster, in the
employment of the Confederate States under Capt Sharp direction deserted
to the enemy at Martinsburg Virginia taking with him Four impressed
Horses, 4 Sets Harness & 1 Wagon noe of which property has been
recovered. |
