| You will proceed to Portsmouth Navy Yard
and present the accompanying order to Com. Forrest |
| On receiving the cannon you will ship them
for Charleston, S. C. by way of Wilmington and Florence thence to
Charleston. |
| You will there deliver them to Messrs
Earon & Co, who will rifle them. You will take their receipt for
the guns & return it to this office. |
| Observe and if you can expedite any
Ordnance Stores you may see on the way, keeping a memorandum of them. |
