Dear Sir, |
I have labored as hard and faithfully in
trying to get your Lime through as if it had been for toping off the
wall between us and yankeedom, but have not succeeded in geting all of
it throu yet, the R. Road has been cut and destroyed so the trains
cannot run thou for a few days. I have the promise of some cars to
morrow providing I can get some one to load them. I will load them my
self it I cant get no one else to do it for I am very tired of this
place, all of the Negroes in the hole country is working on the Rail
Road. They will have it completed in a few days, I will remaine here
until the last cask is shipped without orders to the contrary from you |
