Genl G. T. Beauregard |
Commanding |
|
General, |
I have agents buying on Mobile & Ohio
Road, and on the Mississippi and in Arkansas. That from the
Mississippi and Arkansas designed to send to Grenada but a portion has
lately been detained at Memphis, by my order and used for commands of
Gen ???. |
I have agents in every direction. The
present scarcity of corn is due to the inability of the roads to
transport it. I trust the difficulty will be over today. |
Respectfully |
