Capt & AQM, the undersigned Wm C. Morrow private in Co "E" 4th Regt
Ala Infty, detailed as Blacksmith, who being duly sworn according to
Law deposes and says: That at the time of the late Raid of the Enemy
he was acting as foreman of the Govt Shop in charge of Maj G P
Theobald AQM that he was cognizant of the quantities of Lumber
received by Major Theobald and of the Quantities consumed and is
fully satisfied that the quantity of thirty four thousand feet, as
stated in the annexed certificate, is the quantity actually lost in
the manner stated in said certificate. |
