I have not heard from you since shipping the above coal,
nor have I had a chance of shipping you any more; it appears that Maj
Cuyler has monopolized all the M&W coal cars. I have seen Col.
Miner a few days since on the subject of furnishing cars to you, he
said the letter he had from Richmond left it to his discretion to let
you have cars or not and he expressed the opinion to me that he know
you did require coal as yet since your works were not yet ready to use
it.
