The undersigned Special Agent in charge of a lot of Wool
purchased by Maj. Geo. W. Grice for the Q. M. Genls Department hereby
certifies, that one Bale of said Wool was lost -- Weighing <600
lbs> Six hundred pounds, on the Richmond & Petersburg RR on or
about the 13th inst.

the wool into the cars at Petersburg and that on its arrival at
Richmond there was one Bale short
