| I find it very difficult to get six miles
of iron yet to be provided for the Piedmont road. |
| There are three miles of iron near
Fredericksburg on this side of the Rappahannock {Richmond,
Fredericksburg & Potomac RR}, which I can procure, if I
could get from two to four wagons. These I have yet been unable to
find. |
| I hope you will point out some way in
which I can get them. |
