Dear Sir, |
Your letter of the 16th informed me that
you had not received eny Lime since January the 26th that I can very
readily account for there has not been eny thing except Troops &
their equipage Transported over the Roads since the above mentioned
time |
I have some Lime in Columbus but cannot
get Transportation for it to Macon for a few days there being some 3
or 4 Thousand Boxes of Ammunition which has the preference over every
thing else. I will get started in a few days. I will get one car load
through every other day after I get started |
