| Major Jacob Thompson Inspector General of the Department
will proceed to the Rail Road Depots of the several roads of this
Department, examine into the polise of the same, correct abuses,
institute new regulations for the guards of the same if necessary. Also
inspect and regulate the guards on the trains. All orders given by him
on this subject will be respected and obeyed by all parties. |
