I have received your application for permission
to bring brandy from North Carolina via the Danville Railroad {Piedmont
RR and Richmond & Danville RR}.
|
|
No special permit to introduce brandy into this city
for sale can be given by the Department, nor can any order for its
transportation be granted. No control is exercised over the
Railroad, except to require preference for Government freight.
