application for the detail of certain bricklayers in the 1st Regiment
State Line. |
| The Adjutant General directs me to say in
reply that he would be pleased to accommodate you, but in view of the
numerous applications for detail and the danger menacing the State
Road {Western & Atlantic RR}, which
the State Line specially guard, the Governor cannot consent to the
reduction of the number. |
