| I have the honor respectfully
to request permission to send Maj J. R. Throckmorton Qr Master to
Atlanta and West Point for the purpose of hurrying forward corn troops
& commissary stores, to this army. The delays in forwarding stores
are inexcusable, and I wish to have an officer at these points to
attend to the prompt shipment of stores to this army. I know of no
other mode of remedying the evil. |
