| I had already been advised by the
Messrs Adams with reference to your coal, & had today given order
for Two (2) Empty Cars to be left at Christiansburg
{Virginia & Tennessee RR} to take on the
first instalment. I was informed that there were Four (4) Car loads on
hand, but Two Cars was all I could command today. |

of vigilance on my part in having if forwarded to you as fast as
possible. |
