| Received at Vicksburg on the 28th of
January 1863 of Capt E. L. Miles A. C. S. Three Hundred and Twenty
One Dollars in full of my wages for one hundred and seven days
services rendered the Govt as Supercargo of a Train of one hundred
and fifty four HHds of sugar {about 10 car
loads} from this place to Richmond Va. Marked Col. Northrop.
Also Sixty two Dollars balance due me to pay my expenses while
employed as Supercargo of said Train which * certify upon honor is
Just and Correct. |
