| I have purchased the Machinery &c in the
"estimate" of Wm H Tams, according to instructions from your Bureau, at
the prices named viz: $5369.50; and will ship the same to Richmond as
soon as I can get a car. No car can be had here now or for some time
to come. I have telegraphed to you today accordingly for one. One will
be sufficient, but it should be a covered car. The machinery will weigh
about 12 000 lbs. Please order Mr. Whitecomb Supt. Va. Central, to
supply me forthwith, or the proper parties, whoever they may be. The
machinery will be ready for shipment in a day or two. |
