In obedience to General order
No 118 A&I Gen'l's office dated Sept 18th 1863 I have the honor to
report that I am on duty supervising the purchase of short forage in
the States of South Carolina and Georgia for the Armies of Virginia
and North Carolina, and also transportation of Government Stores by
Rail from southern Georgia to North Carolina en route for the
latter State and Virginia. |
