My Dr Sir, |
You were in the service of the
Fla, Atla, & Gulf Central R. R. during the years 1856 & 1857
and part of 1858 as assistant Civil Engineer, the Road then being
under construction. The most of the time you were on the road I was
the President of the Company and had every opportunity to learn your
qualifications. And it affords me pleasure to give you an unqualified
testimonial as to your character for integrity, skill and fitness as
an Engineer. To any one who may desire your services as Civil Engineer
I would state that your habits of industry, skill in your profession
and promptness in the discharge of duty eminently qualify you to
render entire satisfaction. |
Hoping you may be successful in all you
desire I remain |
Very Respectfully |
Your obt |
