I certify, on honor, that Wm M. Morisson was, during
the time above specified, employed as a clerk in the Pay Department,
Confederate States Army; and that the journeys charged for in the
above account were performed by him in the discharge of his official
duties under my orders. |

On this 24 day of August one thousand eight hundred and
sixty three personally appeared before me, the subscriber, a justice
of the peace in and for the District aforesaid, Wm M Morrison and
made oath in due form of law, that the above account is correct and
just, and exhibits the actual expense of his transportation for and
during the journey above specified. |
