| I understand the post held by
Maj Ashe has been made vacant by his resignation. |
| Capt. Mason Morfit now acting,
would in my opinion fill said place to the entire satisfaction of the
various Rail Road Companies in this state. I have known him for some
time, and always found him to be energetic & impartial: I would be
pleased on the part of this Company, to see him fill the post thus made
vacant. |
